HIGHLIGHTS
We begin the tour from your accommodation or the colourful port of Split where we board the ferry and set sail to the popular Island of Brač, with a relaxing 45-minute ride. We arrive at the port of Supetar and this is where our exploration of the island begins.
Please note that the private vehicle (AC) transfer around the island with a professional driver is included in the private Split to Brac Day Trip. Also, the below described itinerary is flexible and can be fully adapted to your preferences.
ITINERARY
The first point of our itinerary is the oldest village on the island called Škrip, some 10 km inland from the port of Supetar.
Škrip is believed to have been a Greek colony and a refuge for people of Salona when they were attacked in the 7th century. Two museums are not to be missed – Island of Brač Museum and the Museum of Olive Oil.
The people of Brač are very proud of their oil so if requested, olive oil and food tasting can be organsed here.

Zlatni rat beach (Golden Horn) is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean and thanks to its particular shape it is also one of the most exceptional beaches in the world. The beach is situated less than 2 km from the town of Bol, connected with a lovely promenade under the shade of the pine trees, with many other small beaches to be found.
On our trip we will drive to the highest peak of Brač called Vidova gora (778 metres above sea level) sharing a truly breathtaking view, perfect for panoramic pictures. The surrounding islands and Golden Horn beach are right under your feet.
We can either go to Bol to enjoy a spot of swimming and sunbathing or simply continue to Pučišća.
Brač Island is world famous for its marble which was used by Romans who recognized its unique brightness and durability. For those who want to understand Brač marble in more depth I’m happy to customise our tour and take you to the Stonemason Secondary School in Pučišća, which is a great example of mastery and craftmanship of generations of stonemasons on this island.
TIP
It is a good idea to bring:
- Comfortable shoes and clothes
- A backpack with some water
- Sunscreen and swimming gear if you visit in summer
- A good camera to capture all the beautiful sites

Split and surroundings – she’s great
We were a group of 18 women, all with our idea’s, talks, and usually hard to keep us listening! Jelena is a master in combining a firm hand to make sure we see the best sites, being flexible to accommodate for last minute changes, and telling lots of interesting stuff without becoming a teacher. She guided us through Split and all the surroundings on a 3 day trip. And, she’s a great personality. After a few hours, you forget she is the guide, and really becomes part of the group, with lots of fun!
