Hello! I’m Jelena Vrancic, a luxury travel designer & licensed tour guide, home-based in Split, Croatia; a passionate traveller, food enthusiast, and lover of all things beautiful.

I hail from Sinj, a small Dalmatian town with a vibrant history situated 20 miles inland from Split. My childhood was enhanced by a tight-knit family, the luxury of playing outdoors, and a deep affection for education. As a result, I nurtured my passion for the English language from the very early age. While the Homeland War in the 1990s complicated my secondary school studies, it did not discourage my desire to progress my education. I attended university in Zadar to pursue a degree in English and Sociology, receiving academic scholarships every year.

Following my university studies in Croatia, I moved to the bright lights of London to work as an au pair for a well-educated family, all while continuing my studies and expanding my English language knowledge. I passed the Cambridge proficiency exam with an A. My experience in England was not only a way to advance my learning, but it allowed me to connect with people from other nationalities, races, and religions. An avid attendee of the theatre and cinema, I also evolved my love of the arts and culture.

Juggling teaching and tour guiding for the first few years, I ultimately decided to follow my heart and conduct tours full time, embracing my enthusiasm for the city I endlessly adore – Split.

Together with my equally excited and dedicated team of colleagues and partners, we wish to pass on this love for the area and its strong flavour to our visitors through customised feel-good itineraries of Split, Dalmatia, across Croatia and beyond.
