Set in a secluded riverside garden on the banks of the Žrnovnica, this experience is a masterclass in Dalmatian terroir. You will be guided through a curated flight of four Jardin private labels, each expressing the unique character of the soil and climate. The tasting is expertly paired with Jardin’s own extra virgin olive oils and seasonal, garden-based tapas. It is a slow and sensory afternoon designed for those who seek the authentic heart of Croatian viticulture.

The Jardin menu is a living thing. It moves in sync with the seasons, harvesting whatever nature yields at its peak. What isn’t served fresh is transformed either by drying, pickling, fermenting, or conserving to capture the essence of the harvest year-round. When the farms deliver, Jardin celebrates. You might find organic meats, wild-caught fish, and vibrant greens, alongside fermented fruits and sun-ripened berries. To tell the full story of the land, there is no à la carte menu. Instead, a single, unique 4-course seasonal meal is designed to take you through the flavours of the region. Every meal includes a curated wine pairing, featuring regional pours specifically selected to complement the day’s harvest.

COOKING CLASS

Just beyond the stone walls of Split lies a hidden culinary sanctuary where the pace of life is dictated by the flow of the Žrnovnica River. This is Jardin, a private micro-farm and ‘cooking laboratory’ dedicated to the art of Dalmatian slow food. Step into their garden, where the morning’s harvest becomes the afternoon’s masterpiece. Under the shade of an outdoor kitchen, you will join in on a hands-on exploration of heritage flavours, sustainable head-to-tail philosophy, and organic produce grown mere steps from your prep station. This is a slow living immersion into the Croatian selo (village) spirit, paired with the region’s most expressive wines and the luxury of a riverbank breeze.
